My Cambridge satchel arrived this morning and it's even prettier in real life. I love the colour!
I got the 14" which is the perfect size as it fits my laptop perfectly and the iPad slots snuggly in to the front pouch.
I couldn't resist taking a What's In My Bag photo. Today I had my iPad and stylus, sunglasses, SD card reader, keys with camera keyring, absinthe lip balm, Filofax, Gland-O-Lac rain bonnet, iPhone in it's @[116300958464096:Polaroid Phone Case], my wallet and passport. I also had my SpiceCam camera but Tom took it in his bag.
There was an awesome rent-a-bar bike for 16 people parked outside the lofts today.
They handed us a card, which promised to "revolutionize the pub crawl". This would be so cool for a birthday party.
Today was the "interactive grand opening" of Saigon Surface, a new restaurant in downtown.
It was very futuristic inside.
There were iPads in each booth, so you could order from it, read the menu and play @[314467614927:Angry Birds] and ignore your date.
As it was the grand opening, they were doing a special five course meal for $25, so Tom and I decided to share it.
I started with a lychee martini and we were then served soup. There was a shrimp salad and then a meaty entree, which Tom polished off by himself. Our main course was a tofu pocket stir fry with rice, which was really tasty. For dessert, we had a cheesecake spring roll, which was amazing and I had a ginger lemonade cocktail.
There was a projector on the wall and you could choose photos to send to it from any of the iPads. So I sent a photo of our shrimp salad.
We wanted to go out on bikes but it was looking a bit stormy on our way home, so we'll have to save that for another day.
