We went for the early bird special at Wheatfield's this morning, where you can get breakfast for just $3. I had poached eggs on toast with hollandaise to start.

I was still hungry so I also had a granola yogurt parfait, which was really nice.

I woke myself up with an Eiffel hazelnut latte.

@[113345162035197:Bliss Old Market Bakery] in our building were competing on the TV show @[101920756513029:Cake Wars] and were having a watching party down in Aroma's.

It was incredibly packed and so noisy that we could hardly hear the TV. Our bakery came third which was very sad.

They had the cupcakes that they'd made on the show for sale, so we bought a box to try.

The aim of the show is to bake cupcake flavours based on the guest judge and this week's judge was Miss USA.

The flavours include lemonade, apple pie with cheddar cheese crisps, chocolate peanut butter and an oriental cardamon flavour, which represented Miss USA's hometown.
