    Today was the second day of The Great Escape Festival in Brighton.

      We stash all of our loose change in a jar near the door, so we brought it along today to gamble in the penny falls.

      It got rather exciting at the end and we had a crowd of Japanese tourists gathered around to cheer us on, as the prizes were pushed tantalizingly close to the edge.

      We hit it big in the end, winning a toy mobile phone and a pot of past-it's-best candy.

      We caught a couple of bands in Horatio's Bar at the end of the pier.

      We then went to a presentation about music from Iceland that was being hosted by @[19343183144:Drowned in Sound] at The Thistle. There was free food, drinks and goodie bags.

      In the evening we had cocktails at Wetherspoon's including one that looked like the sea and one tasted like @[788304224:Elise Hadrysiak]'s famous Miracle Juice. To make Miracle Juice, she would combine shots of every spirit in the house and mix it together with fruit juice – it always got stronger as the night went on.

    There were some cool ice cream bowls in the window of a shop along with the cat play thing we saw on the @[9885974987:Dragons] Den. It was already closed though, so we couldn't look in.

    We headed down to the beach as it was getting dark and along to our next venue.
