    I picked Tom up from the @[19343183144:Drowned in Sound] offices tonight where they were having their Christmas party. We stayed for a drink before having to run off to the South Bank.

      On the way, we got stuck in a lift at Edgware Road Underground. “It’s just like the movies”, claimed one man, “all these different characters in one lift with stories to tell”. Another man calmed everyone down with the information that he had two bottles of wine in his bag.

      We then met up with Clare and friends at the Benugo Bar in the BFI. Clare has been a writer for Snippets for ages and it was so nice to meet her in real life.
