As it was the 4th of July today, Blue Sushi were doing Happy Hour all day.

This week we got to sit downstairs and watch the sushi ninjas making our food.

It was amazingly delicious as always. As we ate, we discussed our USA plan and how we're going to tackle seeing all of the states. The plan so far is that we'll learn to drive and see all of the states in the middle while living in Omaha and then do one big road trip at the end and see all the states around the edges.

Afterwards we went for a look around the Jackson Street Booksellers which is an amazing bookstore with shelves pilled so high that they look like they could fall at any minute.

I found an awesome graphic novel called @[105589399474422:Shutterbug Follies] about a girl who works in a photo lab and the secrets she uncovers through her photo developing.

In the evening we headed up to the roof to watch the fireworks. It was packed, so we stood on the stairs leading up from the roof to the top of the building, which gave us an even more amazing view over the city.

There were fireworks across the skyline, everywhere you looked. There must have been about twenty different displays going off at once.
