We had heard really good things about the Boxcar Grill on the internet, so we headed along for lunch today. Sadly their menu had changed and everything had meat on. We stayed for a drink before heading out on an adventure.

We passed by the Omaha Children's Museum which had fun mechanical toys to play with in the car park.

We stopped in to Back In The Day Antiques so that I could pick up my Spice Cam. The staff were so excited to see someone buy one and told me that they have bags of neck ties and would help me make a dress out of them!

We then walked to Mid-Town where we got tickets for the Cinedine.

It was happy hour so we had a pre-movie cocktail in the bar. I tried an Upside Down Pineapple Cake cocktail.

Tom's change had a Where's George tracking number on, which tells you where the money has been spent before.

Ours had come all the way from Dallas.

It was then time for the movie and we went to see @[183104071725397]Bad Teacher which was awful. We were told to see a movie we weren't really in to at Cinedine as it can be a little distracting.

Our meals arrived about a quarter of the way through. It was weird not being able to see what you were eating but if was fun and I'd go again.

Afterwards we went for coffee and cake in the Delice European Bakery.

We shared a black & white brownie and espresso pecan pie, which we only managed a couple of bites of before having to take the rest home in a box.

There was also a dog bakery next door which was huge!

We headed up to the roof when we got back, which was packed with people waiting for the fireworks at the stadium.

They were very pretty with heart shaped fireworks and ones which were a mix of red, white and blue.
