Bliss Bakery make caketinis, so we went downstairs to try a couple this afternoon.

We enjoyed the pink champagne and red velvet caketini with coffee from Aromas which was really yummy.

Back at the loft we were getting stuck in to our work when we heard a parade outside of the window and of course we had to run down to join the end of it.

We then went for dinner at Upstream Brewery and got the beer sampler to try while waiting for a table.

We got to try 12 mini glasses of beer ranging from very pale to very dark. I'm not sure if I like American beer very much but Tom enjoyed it.

For dinner, I had the black bean veggie burger which was a little too spicy for me. We'd been given a $10 voucher for Upstream when we moved in to the lofts, so that paid for our meal.

There's a plaque outside with a story about the building, which use to be a firehouse. One day a passerby had to tell the firemen, who were sunning themselves that their building was on fire. They ended up losing the top floor.

After dinner we went for ice cream at Maggie Moo's Treatery where the girl behind the counter complimented my necklace and said she hadn't seen anyone else wearing @[24652532928:Vivienne Westwood] in Omaha.

This time we had pecan butter ice cream mixed with peanut butter, Reese cups and Reese's pieces.
