We started this morning with coffee at Aromas Coffeehouse again. I think this will become part of our regular routine. I tried their Turtle coffee, which was created to taste like the Turtle chocolate bars and had caramel, chocolate and pecan butter in it.
Afterwards we went for a walk around the Heartland Of America park which is huge with a gigantic fountain in the middle.
The geese had eggs and baby chicks were hatching from them.
We headed down to the Missouri to see how high the water had risen and I spotted a frog!
There were huge fish swimming in the pond and they looked like sharks with their fins poking out of the water.
We then went back to our place to wait for our bed, which was being delivered and have lunch on our makeshift plates.
We wont be sleeping on the floor tonight.
It was then time to go furniture shopping, so we popped in to Second Chance Antiques to see what the cats were up to.
We then had a look around Homer's which is an awesome record store. Too bad we don't have our record player over here.
Tom made a friend in the Imaginarium.
We then went to Hollywood Candy which is the most amazing store ever.
The shop sold both candy and antiques. We really wanted to get this car sofa.
There is also an awesome diner in the store where you can get 99c popcorn with a prize and the wall was covered in pens.
We had a root beer from the soda fountain.
We then tried on sunglasses. I think these ones are very @[708965676:Amy Lame]!
They even have a candy emergency ambulance parked up outside.
We hit the jackpot when we found Joe's Collectibles hidden in an alleyway of the old market. This shop is filled with amazing antiques which were all really really cheap.
We managed to buy a huge desk for $10, two office chairs and two bar stools for $5 each. Tom wanted to get this hair dryer chair as his office chair.
In the evening we jumped in the hot tub and watched the sunset over Omaha. It was so pretty!
We then went on Skype to @[500941493:Jennifer Ann Smith] in Japan, who was just waking up as we were going to bed.
