      This morning we went for a look around the Leighton Museum, a fancy house in Holland Park.

      They didn't allow photography which is one of my pet hates. Especially when you have to pay to get in!

      It was very pretty with lots of stained glass, gold leaf and a stuffed peacock, which I assume they'd caught in Holland Park.

      There was also a really nice garden around the back.

    We then caught a Routemaster bus to Trafalgar Square.

      We dropped Tom's parents off at the National Portrait Gallery and had a quick look around before going for frappuccino happy hour at Starbucks.

      We then went for a drink at the Garden Gate up in Hampstead, where we sat out and enjoyed the sun.

      In the evening we went for dinner at Ida, an Italian restaurant on 5th Avenue near the Mews.

      We shared mixed tasty bruschettas to start.

      I then had tortelli stuffed with gorgonzola and walnuts which was delicious.

      For dessert Tom and I shared tiramisu and fried pastries with rice pudding on top.
