We then went to Cupcakes, Cocktails & Crossstitch hosted by @[1503096996:Phil Davison] at the Queen Of Hoxton.

There were free cupcakes, super strong jelly shots, acoustic sets from bands, DJs, hula-hoop dancers and acrobats. There wasn’t any karaoke this time, but Phil wants to come to our next Singstar party. I really want to learn hula-hoop tricks, Gypsy Hoops is planning a trip to the UK and has promised to teach me – keep an eye out for her in the next Snippets.

There was a BBQ on the roof, which was in between the skyscrapers of the City and had awesome views.

I crossstitched @[27355825328:Harley Quinn]'s head and I was quite impressed with myself, as I made it up as I went along, rather than working from a pattern.

We nipped away for dinner at The Diner, a classy American-style diner chain, which sells root beer and “hard” shakes. We tucked in to mac ‘n’ cheese and pecan pie.

In the evening, we picked up Raven and went to the Field Day after party, which was hosted by @[19343183144:Drowned in Sound]. Tom designed the poster.
