    1. Edit

Jenny had a day off so we met up with her for lunch at Mercato Metropolitano.

    2. Edit

It was a lovely day so we sat out in the sun while the trains rattled by overhead.

There was a cute little bar van so I ordered a Cuban Mule with teqiuila.

  2. Checkin at Cubana Bar-Restaurant
    1. Edit

Jenny got an exciting call to say that she'd been offered a new job so we headed to Cubana to celebrate with Happy Hour pitchers of frozen strawberry daiquiri.

  3. Checkin at The Vaults
    1. Edit

We managed to bag some cheap tickets to see Trainspotting Live at The Vaults.

It's a cool little venue in the railway vaults just off Leake Street graffiti tunnel.

    4. Edit

The play was really good, though the immersive bits like being splashed with toilet water were terrifying.

  4. Checkin at Leake Street Tunnel
    1. Edit

We tried our hand at graffiti in the tunnel with some leftover paint we found.

    2. Edit

It was lots of fun. I'd love to come back and do a proper painting one day.

We spotted one of Tox's tags from this year. We used to see them all over London when we lived here years ago and tried to spot one from each year.

  5. Checkin at Gogopocha
    1. Edit

We went for Korean food afterwards at Gogopocha on the Lower Marsh.

    2. Edit

We shared the seafood pancake and then I tucked into a hot stone bowl of bibimbap with tofu.
