We had a big day of Christmas shopping ahead of us today, so we fuelled up with breakfast at Blackbird.

I really like their pancakes but they'd sold out, so I tried a charred haloumi which was served with peaches, mint and honey.

A few hours later, our shopping wasn't going so well and we'd wished we'd just stayed at home and shopped online, so we stopped for a pick-me-up at The Tap.

The Tap is a new music themed bar underneath the Hotel Novotel. It was very hipster with tables made of suitcases and seats that looked like Magic 8 Balls.

We went for sushi at Kanpai in the evening which is always the best!
