• We got back on the road and after a few hours we arrived in Iowa City where we went for a drink at the Hamburg Inn.

• Every president since Ronald Reagan has been to this diner, so we knew it would be good.

• We shared a pie shake, which was made from an entire slice of bourbon pecan pie blended with ice cream. We didn't manage to finish it but it was really tasty.
