• Today there was a free airshow at Offut Air Base. We drove down to a near by parking lot and then there were school buses to take us the rest of the way.

• There were dozens and dozens of planes, in all shapes and sizes and you could queue up to have a look around most of them.
• 
• The sky was blue and clear, so it was the perfect day for watching planes fly in loops.
• The show was so good and they drew shapes in the air with smoke.
• 
• There were also sailors in full uniform and pinup girls painted on the side of some of the planes.
• It was such a hot day that I had to buy a smoothie in a huge twisty cup to cool down with.
