• Afterwards we met up with Katie & Phil for lunch at La Petite Mort, a new restaurant in the back at Bennet's Bar.
  • Katie had been on a mini shopping spree at the antique shop across the road and couldn't wait to show off her finds. She'd even got me my very own scorpion cast in resin, who I named Steve.
  • For lunch, I had the open roast veg pie which was served with artichokes and pea puree, while Tom had seared lemon sole.
  • For dessert, I tried the Passionfruit Bavarois which looked amazing meringue spikes and elderflower jelly. Tom had a Dark chocolate delice with white Russian cream.
