• In the evening, we went to visit my cousin Lisa, who lives in a gigantic old house in Kirkcaldy. She has three chickens which live in her garden. They were really tame and friendly, cooing and purring as we stroked them.

• They lay about one egg each a day and are really easy to take care of. If I had a garden, I would definitely get some.
