• L'Alba D'Oro were celebrating their birthday by offering 40% off fish & chips, so we picked up some suppers and headed up Arthur's Seat to munch them.

• I didn't realise you were able to drive over the top of Arthur's Seat until today but you can, and we had a fish & chip picnic next to a pond until it started snowing.
