• After checking out of the hotel we headed up to Montmarte and Sacre Couer.

• These steps remind me so much of @[21940678400:Amelie] but what you don’t see in the movie are the “string men of Sacre Couer” who accost you on the steps and try to force braid a friendship bracelet on your hand and then take all of your money.
• 
• There was a very pretty Victorian carousel.
• 
• You get a lovely view from the top of the steps.
• 
• I bought a box of @[48250857578:macaroons] to take home from one of the patisseries.
• 
• We found the first windmill of Montmarte and then walked down the hill to my favorite place in Paris…
