• Eventually we stumbled upon Easter Hailes Gate Tunnel.

• The old railway tunnel stretches quite a long distance under the road bridge into Colinton Village.
• 
• Today, the tunnel is part of a cycle path and filled with graffiti.
•

• We continued our walk in a loop and eventually ended up back on the bridge where we'd parked.
