• We then headed down to Furnival Gardens near Hammersmith Bridge to watch the @[27994914806:Oxford vs Cambridge Boat Race]. We weren't the only ones with that idea, the park was full and there were food stalls and morris dancers.
  • After a bit of hunting we found @[309500568:Lynsey Munn] chilling on picnic blankets with lots of delicious noms cooked by @[500585882:Alexandra Metaxa]. @[504734517:Norman Tallman] joined us and after a while @[61007783:Louise Blackwood] found us too. @[500451255:Claire Taylor] made her way along, just in time to watch the race.
  • @[500585882:Alexandra Metaxa] had made pizza swirls with puff pastry and pizza toppings in the middle that tasted delicious. I'll have to ask her for the recipe.
  • When the race started everyone climbed on the benches and up in to the trees to get a view. I had to stand on my tips toes to get a glance at who was winning. I cheered on Oxford as that's the only city I've visited out of the two.
  • After the race we treated ourselves to @[16284098753:Candy Floss].
