• Tom and I continued our New Year's Day tradition of treating ourselves to a nice brunch to kick off the year.
  • This year we were lucky enough to get a reservation at somewhere I've been desperate to try, the Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings.
  • Up near Exmouth Market, Bourne & Hollingsworth was just as beautiful as I had imagined - a giant warehouse space filled with log fires and plants.
  • I'd been a little cheeky when I booked and asked to sit in the greenhouse because I'd seen pictures of how lovely it was.
  • We ended up with the whole place to ourselves.
  • Once we'd taken in the surroundings, it was time to get down to brunch business and I ordered an Apple Bellini while Tom had the Maverick with gin, ChariTea and an IPA grapefruit shrub.
  • To eat, I ordered pancakes topped with caramelised bananas and toasted hazelnuts and Tom had Eggs Royale.
  • After brunch, I explored a little more finding even more beautiful spaces including another plant filled room and super rustic bathrooms with an old bath repurposed into sinks.
