• Tom had been excited to try Rock Star Sushi Bar and we were lucky enough to get a booking because there are only a handful of tables and it's only open on the weekend.

• We sat outside in the sunshine and ordered a small bottle of sparkling Sake which was really sweet and delicious.

• We started by ordering the Smoked Salmon Uramaki which is the only sushi dish to have won a Good Food Award.

• It was topped with passionfruit sauce, sesame seeds and edible flowers which looked gorgeous.

• Next we ordered the Sweet Potato, Shiitake & Truffle Uramaki topped with torched miso and nuts, and the Kampachi Rock & Roll, a fish that's only served in two UK restaurants because you need a special certificate.
• The sushi came served with fresh wasabi, which is really rare because it's so expensive and you could grate it fresh at the table.
