• It was lovely when we woke up, so we decided to head up to Glenfinnan Viaduct to see if we could catch sight of the earlier Jacobite train crossing.

• Tom cooked Quorn sausage rolls for breakfast while on Poppy's stove we waited.

• The viaduct is in the middle of a deer sanctuary and I spotted this stag lazing in the shade.
• 
• 
• We found the perfect viewpoint from the hillside and sat and waited for the train.
• 
• Right on schedule, the steam train came around the side of the mountain and crossed over the viaduct, tooting as he passed us waving from the hillside.
