• Luckily Mamuska was close by at Elephant & Castle and the lure of Polish dumplings and hot cups of borscht was just too tempting.
  • I started with a mug of Barszcz, or borscht as my Russian Grandad would call it, and a shot of spiced Żołądkowa Gorzka vodka. It was the perfect combination to warm me up after the cold walk in the snow.
  • We then shared three types of dumplings. The goat cheese & spinach, the Kapusta I Grzyby with sauerkraut and mushroom and the Ruskie with white cheese, potato and onion. The Ruskie were my favourite!
