• We stopped off at the farm shop at Hopetoun House where I bought lots of stocking stuffers and then we went for a look around the garden centre.
• 
• We had a cup of tea in The Orangery cafe which was really pretty.
• 
• There were dozens of bird feeders outside swarming with little birds. I could have stayed and watched them for hours but my feet got so cold.
