• It was International Cats Day today and Battersea Dogs & Cats home where having a party to celebrate.
• 
• 
• There was prosecco, paw cupcakes and best of all lots of cats.
• 
• The cats were adorable and all of them were spoken for and about to go to new homes.
• 
• 
• The dog & cat home has it's own knitting group called the Knitten Kittens who meet up and stitch toys and blankets for the cats to take to their new homes.
• 
• Today, they were teaching us how to make pompomeranians.
• 
• I really liked how it turned out, so decided to try and design my own pom pom in the shape of a cat. I just need to add some whiskers with a yarn needle.
