• Our last day back in Scotland was spent with my parents in Edinburgh. We went for breakfast in an amazing little cafe called the Roseleaf down in Leith.
  • It’s full of quirky little touches, such as menus binding inside copies of National Geographic and hardback books, candles in teacups and mismatched tableware.
  • The food was delicious too. We had waffles, pilled with caramelised bananas and sampled the applewood mac n cheese.
