• Dad was happy because he got his favourite cullen skink, while I had a prawn cocktail and filo tart.

• Half of the reason I ordered the tart was because it came with a side of rumbledethumps and I had to know what they were. They turned out to be a dish of potatoes, cabbage and onion.
