• Deliveroo were celebrating their first birthday and invited us to their party at The Biscuit Factory down in Leith.
• I had never been upstairs in The Biscuit Factory before but it was the perfect space for an event or wedding. I could totally imagine living there too.
• I wasn't too sure what to expect from a Deliveroo party other than lots of food and, considering how often we order take-out from them, we were keen to get stuck in.
• Edinburgh Gin mixed up cocktails and Paolozzi pulled pints while Harajuku Kitchen fried dumplings and Barnacles N Bones served seafood. There was also a huge buffet with sushi, cupcakes and a mountain of hummus.
• There were also mini stations around the room offering hair cuts, braids, manicures and massages.
• Tom got his hair cut by Ruffians Barbers while I had a glittery mermaid braid put in my hair by Charlie Miller.
• We then queued up for ages while making queue buddies, so I could get my nails painted in an amazing metallic sparkle by NAF! They make their own cuticle oil which comes in tiny skull bottles and smells amazing.
• We ended the night with a few more drinks and the most relaxing back rub from Urban Massage. Happy Birthday Deliveroo!
