• We went to see the new Jake Gyllenhaal movie, Demolition with Izzy after work today. It was a really dark film and reminded me a lot of Night Stalker, his previous movie which we loved!
• 
• After the movie, we headed to Teuchters (where you can order a pint of Scottish sweets) and met up with some of Tom & Izzy's colleagues who were visiting from France. It was the perfect opportunity to test out how my French was coming along.
• 
• I settled for a conversation on the noises animals make in France compared to the UK (mice make a piep piep sound), which was a better alternative to the odd questions that Duolingo has been wanting me to learn recently.
