Keava's parents have the perfect country cottage with a huge garden, kitsch decor and fields filled with fluffy chickens in the back. We were staying in a bothy in the back garden which was the cosiest place to spend the night.
-
-
We arrived just in time for lunch and Keava & Rosa had cooked a delicious curry soup.
-
-
-
We brought a bottle of Love.Gin with us so we had g&t from a teapot which looked so cute and felt a lot more civilised than straight up drinking at lunchtime.
-
-
After lunch, it was time to go on a real life Easter egg hunt and feed the chickens.
-
-
-
-
The eggs were so pretty and were a mixture of sizes in cream, green, blue and pink.
-
-
-
Keava told us to take a handful of feed and all the chickens ran over to us and started pecking it off our hands. They were so cute and fluffy.
-
-
-
We then wrapped the puppies up in blankets and took them off in the Fig for an adventure.
-
-
There were so many cute animals along the drive including ponies, baby Highland cows and so many lambs.
-
-
We stopped off to see these lambs and some of them had little jackets on. One was wearing a pink tutu.
-
-
-
The pups took us for a walk along the river when we got to Peebles.
-
-
-
The great thing about walking a dog is that you get to meet all the other cute dogs too. We met a scottie dog called Ike and a giant dog which looked like a rug called Fudge.

We picked up some amazing looking cakes from Coco Black to take back for dessert and then stopped for a drink in the Tweeside Inn.
