• The weather was lovely and sunny when we set off but it started snowing as soon as we arrived.

• Animals always look extra cute in the snow and the highland cows looked completely unphazed by the weather and mud.

• We sheltered with a walk through the woods where the trees protected us from the rain.
•

• There was a really pretty lake in the middle with swans and ducks, where you could hire a fishing boat. I thought it would be perfect for a boat picnic in the summer.
