• Tonight was Google's Edinburgh Whiteout party for the City Experts at The Pompadour. We were handed cocktails with candy floss when we arrived and made our way in to a gorgeous snowy room with an oyster bar for everyone to try.

• We were sat at big tables for the meal with gorgeous centrepieces inside bell jars and menus which we could cut into snowflakes. It felt a bit like we were at Google's wedding.

• The meal was incredible with scallops, a delicious fish (which I still haven't worked out what kind it was) and a selection of mini treats for dessert.
• 
• There was also a giant cake which looked like the Scott's Monument and tasted like gingerbread, though we felt so guilty when they cut into it.
