• We haven't spent much time exploring North Berwick before today but it felt really similar to Salem, Massachusettes for some reason.

• It was still sunny and warm when we eventually emerged outside, so we decided to make the most of the lovely evening and head to Portobello Beach.

• We'd heard good things about The Espy and, as we were with Edinburgh's most influential food bloggers, we decided to give it a shot!

• I ordered the beetroot and goats cheese salad which was gigantic but the cheese was a little runny and didn't taste great. Tom had some nachos were just okay and Gemma & Gary didn't seem too impressed with their meals either.
