• One of the best things about having is a car is being able to take late night trips to the craft store for supplies and this evening, Tom took me to Hobby Craft to buy some pattern-making paper. We then decided to treat ourselves to dinner at The Paper Mill on our way home.

• It was so quite that we almost had the whole place to ourselves. As the designated drinker, I tried a Vanilla Cosmopolitan while Tom had a tasty ginger beer.

• We ordered 2 meals for £20 from the Eat Local menu and I tried the risotto while Tom tucked in to the catch of the day fish and chips. We were a little too full for dessert but I'd love to go back sometime to try their lavender creme brûlée.
