• In the evening, we had reservation at the Vampire Cafe, which was hidden away on an anonymous floor of a building in Ginza. We weren't sure we had the right place until the elevator doors opened on to a candle lit room with a screaming skeleton.
  • We were shown to a candle lit table secluded away behind a red velvet curtain by our waitress who was dressed as a maid and had fangs.
  • Our food was also vampire themed and we tucked in to a salmon roll shaped like a cross and a salad topped with blue cheese and bats. Our cocktails were filled with flowers and Tom's one was glowing red when it arrived.
  • We treated ourselves to a tower of cakes for dessert which was literally unveiled after it was placed on our table.
