• We made our way back down the mountain and caught the train to Kyoto where we were staying in another ryokan. This one was a little more contemporary than the one in Nagano but it had a beautiful view over the city.
• I had some green tea in our room, while Tom tucked in to the ramen he made yesterday and it was delicious.
• 
• We watched the sun set over the city before heading out in to Gion with the hopes of spotting Geisha.
