• In the evening, my parents came through and I was excited to wear my skirt out for the first time and we went for dinner at The Caley Sample Room.

• I've always considered this bar to be quite sporty but it looked really pretty tonight with candles and dried flowers on all of the tables.

• I wanted to try something new and that I wouldn't usually go for, so I ordered the blue cheese potato cakes with mackerel. Apart for a few bones, it was delicious and I'd order it again. Everyone else loved their food too so I bet we'll be going back soon!
