• Tom was feeling a little hungover after the party last night, so I left him in bed and went out for sweet potato wedges with my Mum.
• 
• Afterwards we met up with my Dad, who's just been to see an exhibition on the vikings at the museum, for brunch at The Southern. I loved these dog portraits that they have on the wall.
• 
• Mum and I shared the pancakes and a veggie breakfast. It's great going for meals with her because we can always split two dishes.
• 
• Dad tucked in to a huge choca-blocker-glory for dessert and we had to help.
