• We passed through Illinois on the way to Missouri and stopped to see Abraham Lincoln's Tomb in Springfield.

• Lincoln's nose had turned shiny from all the tourists rubbing it for luck. There was a gigantic storm about to hit so we had to run from the car and rub it just before the rain started.
