• We walked out to the island where there were lots of people, including men with a metal detector who has just found part of a railing. I really want to hire a metal detector one day.

• There was an amazing view over Edinburgh.
• To one side you could see Arthur's Seat and the castle and on the other you could see to the bridges.
• The island was used a lot during the war and is covered in abandoned buildings and shelters.
• 
• On the other side of the island you could see all the way to Burntisland.
• 
• I zoomed in on this photo and could see my Nana's roof!
